A friend of mine asked me why I mentioned the ethnicity of the teammate I mentioned in my previous post and if I was trying to imply anything about the race.I am not racist, being Indian myself.Its just that this particular teammate of mine happens to be one of the few who seem a little pretentious,greeting only the chinese guys with a very big smile. Actually these guys happen to be friends of mine and they are puzzled at why she does that so often and why only to them.I just felt it was queer that she was so openly friendly to just chinese guys and blatently indifferent to the others.Besides I am inclined to believe that she speaks mainly just to seek attention for herself and not actually to make any meaningful contribution to any discussion, having worked with her on a few previous occasions. So there, I am not racist, I just cannot understand what drives a pretentious attitude and sorry that she happens to be Indian, one of my kind.
